California LATA 1

California LATA 1 is the telephone service area that includes the northern part of area codes 408 and 831 and all of the 415, 510, 650, 707, and 925 area codes including Concord, Crescent City, Eureka, Livermore, Oakland, San Francisco, San Jose, Santa Cruz, Santa Rosa and Watsonville.

• Prices w/ Telco Charges for Frame Relay in California LATA 1 include local loop installation, monthly charges and state/federal tax surcharges within Pacific Bell's operating area; this is the total Internet access charge for your connection. (Outside of Pacific Bell's operating area in California LATA 1 additional charges may exist; call for a quote.)

• Prices w/o Telco Charges for Frame Relay in California LATA 1 do not include installation, monthly charges or state/federal tax surcharges for the local loop and Frame Relay port access; please call Pacific Bell for a quote.

• Prices w/o Telco Charges for direct access in California LATA 1 do not include local loop installation, monthly charges or state/federal tax surcharges; please call for a quote.

• Changing a Frame Relay CIR incurs a one-time service cost of $50. Changing Frame Relay PRs of 128K and above costs $100; upgrading a PR of 56K requires a full re-install.

Continental U.S.

Prices for Frame Relay access in the Continental U.S. do not include the local loop installation or monthly charges. Local loop charges for a 56Kbps connection are typically less than $500 for installation and $200 per month. Significantly reduced local loop charges for various California LATAs are available. For higher speeds, the cost varies significantly; please call for a quote.
